A retired U.S. Navy SEAL Commander and veteran of Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan, Shane brings over 30 years of experience in security, leadership, and emergency response. Following his Naval service, he served as an Oregon police officer, firearms instructor, and contracted Diplomatic Security Specialist for the U.S. State Department in Iraq. Shane has since dedicated his expertise to protecting educational and faith-based communities—leading Public Safety and Emergency Management at Oregon State University–Cascades and conducting K–12 Safety and Security Assessments for the High Desert Education Service District. He now focuses on enhancing safety, preparedness, and crisis response for schools and churches nationwide for Slidesoft. Shane also serves as a Commissioned School Security Officer in Arkansas and Head of Security at his local Church and its private school ministry.
